Do not apply through consultants and agents

Hi,
While applying for FSW, do not apply through agents and consultants. By the time they request all the documents and send, the delay will be significant. So, you might risk the 1000 cap limit placed on your NOC. So take some time off to do reading the documents and forms required. Its quite simple.

How that 1000 capacity is applied?
Is this for one year? If my application is not fit in this year's 1000, then will be it considered for the next year's capacity?
And does it mean that it make more sense to apply at the beginning of the year? (so that capacity is not empty)

The cap limit of 1000 is placed every year... so this scheme was introduced at the end of june.. so its early enough to apply. I the cap limit is reached then the application will not be considered for the next year and be rejected. Agents will make you sign contracts and get to you to fill the same forms eventually which you must do by yourself. So using an agent will just delay the process. So, if you are proactive enough then using an agent will just reduce your chances. however, if you apply by yourself you must be careful to read all the documents, use a great forum like this and hope for the best.
