Do IELTS required for my partner too?

Hi all please tell me, whether IELTS is required for my partner too who accompanying me. I am pricipal person and I decided to write IELTS, is there any advantage, if my wife too writes IELTS.
Tell me, if there is any advantages on higher IELTS score, while further processing of my application.

In skill list, I fall under Information Technology Manager. But my role and responsibility in current job is not of a manager, but its of consultant nature. Can I choose IT Manager skill type and apply further. I am into IT field for more than 3 years.

Not necessary for your spouse, if you are a principal applicant.
Well if you fine the passing mark as 67 then it dosent matter if you gain more marks, yes but your sake you sould try for the more marks. the more you have the more shall be ur points and probable more waitage...

Any advantage, if she too write IELTS and scores well. Can I place her IELTS score also at any pointof time during application processing.

you won't gain any points anyway...

education is the only category that your spouse can add up to your points.
unless she is staying in canada for some work or education...
