The question is simple: I have my 2012 T4, and I asked the CRA for an option C print out for 2012. Do I still need to include a letter of employment from my employer as well?

Thanks.

according to my knowledge you dont need to submit a letter from the employer as everything is shown in C print out
good luck......

According to the document checklist, if you are employed, you must submit the letter from your employer. The option C printout is a completely different document on the list.

Sucks =\ okay I guess I'll ask work for it.

Thanks!

I didn't include Option C printout or letter of employment in my application. Now I'm freaking out that it could be returned.

I got approved for SA today and I didn't need to include the missing above documents.

Congratulations.

I would always try to include everything and then some. Better to have everything than experience more delays.

work don't have to know its for immigration . Just ask them to supply a letter stating the amount of hours you work , and the amount of money you make and how long you have worked for them .

If you have a lazy boss like me, just type up your own letter of employment with all the informationed required (salary etc) and have your boss sign it.

That would work if you can get the letter on company's letterhead paper. Otherwise it is no difference from someone writing up a letter and having someone sign a fake boss signature.

My wife just wrote the letter herself and it went fine ;). Just provide all the contact information of your employer!

Edit: Obviously, she got her boss to sign the letter.
