Just a quick question. I did a quick google but nothing came up for this.

I'll be submitting my PR application soon, after reading over the checklist, under the supporting documents for sponsored persons (the principal applicant) it asks for proof of status if I'm living in Canada. Does "living" in this case mean someone who is on a work permit, trv, or other kind of visa?

I'm technically a visitor here, do not hold any visas (I'm American) nor do I have a work or study permit, so do I need to submit my travel history? I will be staying in Canada with my husband and we will be applying as outland but with me living in Canada while we wait for the application to get processed. I ordered my travel history a month ago because this question was kind of confusing and to have it just in case its requested, but I want to make sure I'm not adding it unnecessarily.

You are currently here on visitor status. Typically a US citizen will get 6 months status upon entry. Even after you submit the outland PR app, you must apply to extend your status before the 6 months is up, else you would be here illegally. Alternatively you can exit/re-enter Canada to reset the 6 months.

And yes, you must submit travel history as part of the PR app.

Thanks! I'm fully aware that I am here under visitor status. I've been coming to Canada for several years now, some of which have been over 6 months stay (that of course I maintained legally!). Mainly I just wanted to know whether the travel history was necessary to include in the PR application if I'm applying as outland but staying in Canada.

It is. My husband is here from the dominican and we applied outland and he had to supply it. Not fun i know but its needed!

That was a fun day going through my emails to write my travel history..
Lol! I sent a request in to the CBSA whom compiles all of the entries to Canada they have on record. I'm currently doing the same though as I'm filling out the part for visits I made during out relationship... I think I deleted one of my return ticket emails so now I'm clueless for one of my dates. Urgh.

I'm pretty sure I must have had some mistakes... They know the cbsa entries and us, so it's more about others I feel.
