Hello,

Can someone please let me know if I have to submit notarized photocopies with the CEC application? I have the following copies and wondering if they need to be noztrized.

Passport
Work Permit
Visa (Current and Expired)
Degree Certificates and transcripts
10 and 12 standard marksheets

Not required.

Only those documents not in english language, need to be translated to english and notarized.

Thank God..I had an appointment today and was about to spend lot of money...

Thanks Sai_Murthy. Also I don't have my birth certificate. I got a the Certificate of DOB from Indian Consulate. Will that Suffice? Can I submit the original or I need to submit the photocopy?

At least read the checklist, there are no documents that require notarization, only originals or copies.

I don't think I need the Original in the future since it is just a certificate from Indian Consulate. Any problems if I submit the original...

you will not required "Certificate of Date of Birth" beacuse your passport is having date of birth details..and that should be enough

Best Wishes,

He is probably going to get an email/letter from CHC saying they want a birth certificate.

you only need a plain photocopy, it does not need to be notarized (if in English or French).

One of my Friend's friend application was rejected since he was not able to produce the birth certificate. Probably I need to get this from my birth place..
