My case - Category 1, is approved from CIC, Sydney and I am going to send updated documents as per checklist to New Delhi office. Can anybody please help me in guideing me as do I again need to send Fees for me and my family members along with docs.? Since I have my spouse and child (1yr) so its going to be $1250. Please correct. As per checlist I need to send that but just want to confirm. I already have sent the fees ($1250) when I applied. I will appreciate your response.

No you do not send fees now If your application is approved, they will ask you for "Right of Landing Fee" at that time.

ok... thanks for the replies. For IELTS, I have the Test Report Results with me. Do I need to send the results in original or its notarized photocopy?

For Cat1 you have to send your application fees to Sydney along with your application. Once Sydney approve your application for further processing, you need to send all your supporting documents with a photocopy of your application forms (note that your and your dependents' signatures on the photocopy of your application forms should be original, not copied) to your local Canadian embassy. You do not need to send any further fees with your application to your local embassy. Once they approve it, they will ask you to take medicals and they may also ask you to pay the "Right of Permanent Residence Fees". Alternatively, they may not ask for RPRF at the time of medicals. If they don't, you will have to pay that when you land.

As for IELTS, you need to send originals for sure.

Your best course of action would be to check the visa office specific instruction page, as they are doing things differently post February 2008. In my case I have to pay RPRF when I submit my documents as this is on the visa office specific instruction. This is New Delhi http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37029.pdf

diwar,

i read the visa office specific instruction for delhi and it says:

13. FEE PAYMENT
Consult the Fees section of our Web site or the Guide for Skilled Worker Applicants
to calculate your fees. You must include a bank draft payable to the Canadian High
Commission for the full immigration processing fee for yourself and all
accompanying family members. Note that the processing fees are not refundable.
Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian rupees at the exchange rate

i think this refers to your application fee not the RPRF. or are you referring to another instruction?
