Hello,

I am almost finished my husbands sponsorship/PR application. We are applying outland, filing for his extended stay etc. once we have submitted the PR paperwork. I was wondering if I need to have the photocopy of my marriage license to be notarized? As well as I have a couple people who wrote letters for us indicating they witnessed our wedding etc. Do those have to be notarized as well and a copy of the medical exam that he is doing. I need a copy for extending his visitor's record as well. I just want to prevent any problems and delays with our application. I also want to know if on the extended stay form what do I put in the details of visit to Canada indicating the purpose. Waiting for PR approval? I am also a couple months pregnant as well and was going to add the doctors forms I am receiving to prove I am pregnant etc. If I should put that on the application or simply just waiting for PR approval? Thank you for your help:)

Which VO is processing your 'outland' application? Someone could advise from personal experience. In our case (Manila), required documentation was either originals, or photocopies. We had nothing notarized. Unless your regionally specific guide makes it a requirement, don't waste your money.
