AOR Received.
10-03-2017
Hello, I am CEC applicant. At the time I received AOR in March my status was visitor, but I recently got a work permit. My visitor status was expired on the last week.

I know that many of March CEC Inland applicants have passed medical, however there's no update for me so far.

Do I need to inform CIC the change of my status? Or do they only care about the condition at the time I receive ITA?

I can't stop thinking that if I get a work permit earlier, I would've passed medical by now :(

Yes, you must inform IRCC about this change in visa status.

Thank you for your reply.

Can I ask how I inform them...? Via contact form or something like that?

Inform them via CSE. Kindly open your AOR letter and follow the instructions mentioned to raise CSE.

Got it! Thank you very much! :D

1. They only care that you were eligible when you got the ITA. You don't have to inform them about the change of status, as since IRCC issued the change, they know about it.

How did you get work permit? was it based on your pr application? I am in visitor status right now and want to apply for work permit.

Oh....if it does work this way, then there is no need to update. It will automatically be an internal system update from their end for that particular EE file.
This makes more sense.
Thank you.

Following.

Need to know how you got work permit from your visitor status.

Thanks

This makes sense... I've already informed them about my new visa though.

I had a work permit support letter from PNP. I've already want to quit my job though. My next question will be "Is there any way that I can change my employer after I got PNP nomination and a closed work permit?", but I think I'll do that next time...
