Do I need to explain about my unemployed periods?

Should I include some sort of letter of explanation explaining what I was doing during those periods?
 
If they really want to know, you will be requested for an explanation. But at submission, no need.

I don't remember the instructions, TBH. If it says past 10 years, sure. But if you were employed on April 29 2008, you can start instead the start date with that company or whatever activity that was.

Hi, during my employment period I have taken 6 months off for my mom’s medical treatment out of the country. Do I need to mention that information in the personal history section?
