Do i need to change my religion in passport....Urgent help!!

Hello,

I thank in advance everybody to look into this topic!!!

One of my friend she is going to be married this october, but she has to change her religion. Her problem is does she need to change her religion to muslim in passport? Is it mandatory? In future her husband will have any problems with that? Please help.

what country are you from, that it requires you to name your religion in your passport. i was unaware this is something that is done. i've never seen a passport that listed a person's religion?

I think Pakistani passports do have it.

So your friend it getting married and you have to change religion in your passport? Don't get it..

Will her future husband having a problem with what? Her being or not being Muslim??

Me too. Never dreamt of something resembling religion in a passport.!!????!!!
