Hi All..I recently got my COPR and now I am planning to apply for my permanent SIN..I was on a work permit till now and had a temporary SIN (starting with 9)...my current Ontarion Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card is valid till Jan 2022..Do I need to update/re-apply for my OHIP after receiving my permanent SIN??

Yes, please book appointment on Service Ontario as they are not taking walkin customers. I booked for tommorrow, but not sure they will take me because Ontario just announced state of emergency
NO, don't worry about it until you need to renew your health card. Yours is still valid and will be until its expiration date.
As with any provincial health card, you don't need to update it even if your immigration status changes.
I would suggest you renew it within 1-2 months before it expires.
He doesn't have to until his is due to expire.
