Do I need to apply for Work Permit if I applied for TRV?

I applied online through the official site and paid $150 CAD. I thought it was only for a TRV but I saw on their website the following :

Should I apply for a temporary resident visa when I apply for a work permit?
"If you need both a temporary resident visa and a work permit, you do not have to apply for them separately or pay a separate fee. An officer will give you a visa at the same time as your permit."

I was asked to send my original passport (I think my visa was apporoved) Im just waiting to get it back from them. So, can someone confirm if will I get both visa and permit?

you will get a TRV and a letter, when you pass the border, you need to show your TRV and letter then the custom officer will issue you the work permit.

I thought so, just wanted to make sure. Have you been through this, i'm nervous as heck and just want to make sure I have everything I need. When I get there what will they ask, will it be a million questions or something smooth?
