Do I need to accept the LMIA offer in order to get 50pts for EE?

Greetings my fellow Canadian brothers and sisters,

I have a questions: I'd like to get a PR via EE. I'm currently interviewing with some companies in the order of interested all the way to dream companies and I expect to have one or two offers from my first interviews.

I'd like to know that in order to get the 50pts, do I need to accept the offer? Or does it mean once I have an offer, I can have 50pts added and start the EE process?

To get the 50 points, you need a job offer and approved LMIA from your employer. Just the job offer isn't enough - your employer needs to obtain the LMIA as well.

Generally you would accept the offer and then the employer would work to obtain an approved LMIA.
