Do I need the past 6 months of bank statement translated?

Hi all,

Do I need all the past 6 months of bank statement translated? We already have the official letter from the bank stating the average amount for the past 6 months.

Any comment will be appreciated.

It does not state anywhere that you need to submit the statements for the past 6 months, but they will serve to re-enforce your bank letter.

People submit 6 month bank statements if there is a significant difference (say 20% or higher) between their present balance and 6 months average balance. This allows IRCC to view your transactions (not that they EVER ask you for this information) and confirm to themselves that you haven't borrowed money from anywhere to showcase settlement funds.
