Do I need PCC from England AND Canada?

Hi guys,

Just double checking my complete application (again) before sending it off and I've just re-read the document checklist about the Police Certificates and it says you must submit a police certificate from every country you have lived for more than six months!

Does this mean I have to get a Police certificate from Canada as well? Was there from June 2011-June 2013 - I feel I may have misread that part of the checklist

I am currently awaiting one from the UK (born citizen) and was hoping to get my application sent off at the end of March :'( If I do, how do I go about that - I am in England at the moment.

You don't have to submit your PCC along with your application. It is recommended that you do, but it is not necessary. You can submit your application and after you receive your acknowledgement of receipt from CIO, you can mail your PCC to the CIC office.

As for a PCC from Canada, wait for CIC to issue a RCMP request and then submit it.

You don't need a Canadian PCC unless CIC specifically requests one from you. They usually don't need it.

Brilliant, thank you very much! I just read on the CIC site that countries other than Canada

Regarding PCC I am worried about an arrest I have on there from when I was 13, anyone think they will refuse the application?

You need one for England not from Canada.
