Do I need loan from India if my sister is a PR

My sister is a Canadian PR, she is sponsoring my university fees and living expenses. Got admission from uOttawa. Do I still need to provide loan / bank balance from India for Study VISA?

can she prove that she has enough money to pay for your fee? if yes, how then? you will need to prove that through taxes paid, etc.

sister sponsoring is actually not gonna work so much in your favor. u dont have ur own funds and sister is PR + ur sponsor, u will look like a prospective immigrant,which is not what u want.

so try showing own funds. if u can't go ahead, write a good SOP. it's still very possible to get visa.

yes, she can prove by her bank balance. or she can send money to me and I can put it in short term FD for VISA purpose.

urs is best, second option is hers

If she can give u the funds its more secure to a third person and looks like the money for ur education
