Do I need letter from Canadian Embassy?

I got my visa in Feb 2013.

I have offer letter for September 2013 course, and will go to Canada on August 2013.

Do i need letter from canadian embassy stating "why i will go to canada late"?

what if the officer in toronto airport asks me why i attended college late?

Yes buddy .. you did a big mistake ... why did you do that ??? what is the actual reason behind this ??? now you will have to prove and satisfy the visa officer .. may be he can refuse your visa and order you to go back right away you land to canada .. This is very keen situation ... please take sold evidences with you when you land there ... I prefer you to take advice from any consultant and expert who had been through from this situation so that he can easily tell you , how to get out from this situation ....

did your offer letter state the start date of classes and what intake you're starting?

at first, i got offer letter for the Jan 2013 course on October 2012.
then.. i applied for study permit on december 2012.
the canadian embassy was so slow, they released my passport with stamp on Feb 2013, so basically i missed the Jan 2013 intake.

it is not my fault, now i will go for the same course but in Sept 2013, with the old stamp (feb 2013).

what should i do, should i get some kind of letter from canadian embassy regarding this?

u do not need any thing just say the above thing to vo at airport.

why didn't you take the june session? if you got your visa in feb then you should have taken june intake ????

Hi,

You just need the deferral letter from College.
And just tell the VO that your visa was issued late and show them the deferral letter.

i didnt take June intake coz the course was not offered in June, only in Jan and Sept.

So basically first you got the visa late(in the month of February for the preceding January session) and then as the course is not offered before next September session you waited.I think the VO will understand it if you can explain.Now if it come to the point of proof you already have the proof that visa issued after session started. For joining in September session bring a letter from college that the course is not offered in June .
