Hello.
I moved to Alberta in January on an open work permit under the International Experience Canada program which is valid for 1 year.
I am currently employed in landscaping but theres usually about 6-8 weeks after the summer where there is no work, so I was thinking about working the rigs to make some decent money in that time.
To work the rigs I would need to get my first aid and h2s alive.
One of the conditions on my work permit is the following:
"UNLESS AUTHORIZED, PROHIBITED FROM ATTENDING ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AND TAKING ANY ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE."
Do I need to apply for a study permit to get those safety tickets?
Would really appreciate any help on this topic.
Thanks in advance.
