Hi,

I currently live in Canada on a student Visa and I am wondering if I get an ITA through FSW program of EE, would I need to show a bank statement for 6 months with 19k $ or more (3 members family)? Or it would be sufficient to show myself and my wife monthly paychecks and our T4s for previous years?

If I get letter from my university saying I am funded for 1 year to come with 31,500 K per year, would that be sufficient in addition to the work paystubs of my wife current employment?

Please help me with that question if you have experience on that issue,

Thanks in advance,

Unless you apply under the CEC, you have to show proof of funds for however many people are on your application. Ih your case (for 3 members), you would need to be able to show you have $18,825CAD available now.

Thanks for your clarification,

If I get the momey in my bank account (so that there will be a sudden transition in my balance) and support that with a gift deed letter from a relative , does this weaken my application?

CIC accepts funds gifted to you. It won't weaken your application, but be certain to get the gift deed letter.
