Hi! We're reaching Ontario next month as EE-FSW PR. Currently, there is no waiting period for OHIP. Do we still need a private health insurance before we land in Canada? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you still need a private health insurance because you are basically temporary staying in Ontario and Alberta is your final destination. Once you move to Alberta, get the AHCIP instead.
