hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with this, my parents were here in Canada on 2014 for about 9 months , recently their PR application is in process and i received a letter from NEW DELHI TELLING ME,

Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are 18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted. Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT A POLICE CLEARANCE FROM CANADA AS WELL FOR MY PARENTS ? IF YES HOW.

please advise me on this.

1. Not required. If IRCC requires one for Canada they will request it.

Please stop with the all caps. It's considered yelling and very rude.

Yes - all countries with the exception of Canada.

you are absolutely wrong on this one, it clearly says "Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are 18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted. Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country."

it doesnt say exception of canada, it clearly says any country.
