Do I need a new LMO for the same job title but different group?

I have been waiting for WP for over 2 months, and the position I got may not wait for me any longer. There is a chance that the company will place me to a different position, with the same everything ( title, salary, location, nature of work...) except it would be in a different group and somewhat different focus. In this case, will I need to re-apply for LMO and WP? Can I just use the positive LMO I already got and the WP I am waiting for? Thanks!

The company needs to obtain a new LMO and then you need to obtain a new work permit.

The company needs to prove they advertised the new job and were unable to find a Canadian for the role (just like they did for the first job).

Why does the company need new LMO if the title, salary, location, nature of work are same? Even it's for the same person. Can you please explain a little bit more? Thanks!

What is your title, job responsibilities and nature of work now?

What would be your new title, job responsibilities and nature of work?

Because of what I have bolded below. It's a different job. Different job = new LMO.

I think Scylla is right. If the NOC Code or the Title or the location changes, a new LMO is Required.

The NOC code, title, and location will all be the same
for example, it would be like a math teacher teaching in the same school but different grade

If yes then I think a new LMO will be required.
