I am the principal applicant but my wife is also employed now. She was no employed at the time of application. Should I inform my spouse employment status change to cic?

Kevin is right. There is no requirement to notify CIC about job changes of anyone other than the primary applicant. So... No, you don't have to report your wife's employment to CIC.
