I started my current job at Jan. 2013 and submitted application for CEC at Jan 2014. I submitted my T4 & NOA for 2013 already. Do I have to inform CIC if I quit my job now? My lawyer said I do not have to because submitting ROE would delay my application once more. I am just worried that if I do not inform CIC and they would assume that I am still working there, will they ask me to provide T4& NOA of 2014 next year???

but do you supply pay-stub of 2014 and offer letter ? if not , the request chance is higher.

I would suggest you inform them about changes in your employment. It is mentioned somewhere in AOR I guess.

Why do I need the pay stub of 2014? my work experience is from 2013 to 2014. I thought CEC only require one year work experience?

AOR specifically says they expect you to:

Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.

It is always safe to share the information that withholding it. you don't want to worry about misrepresentation accusations at anytime.

Yes your view is correct. You only have to submit T4, NOA for period you are claiming.

Thanks all for replying. I am worried if I inform CIC about quiting job they would ask me to provide ROE..My current employer is a pain in the ass and asking him for ROE would be another battle...so I just want to leave the job peacefully.

^ROE is mandatory for your employer to submit to SC. You will get that from Service Canada (download).

you mean I can get it by myself???

Yes you may.
You need to create a profile with Service Canada.
I can also fill out the information by myself also? without notifying my boss?

No, it's a document that an employer should provide to Service Canada within x days upon termination of employment.

If you are asking for the SC profile, then yes, you will be the one creating that. The ROE will be linked to your file once they receive it.

A - the AOR is generic. In some economic class streams (FSW, PNP) it does matter whether you quit or change employers. But it has absolutely no bearing on a CEC application. Go ahead and inform them if you want to, it will not matter one whit.

B- The only reason CIC might ask for more paperwork is if something isn't right with your application. For CEC applications, the only work experience that matters is what you did before you applied. I realize that part of your experience is in January 2014, but since most of your experience is on the 2013 T4/NOA, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

C- whenever an employee quits or is terminated, the employer is REQUIRED BY LAW to (a) prepare an ROE on paper and GIVE YOU A COPY within 5 days, or (b) submit an ROE electronically to Service Canada, If your employer submits it electronically, you can download it from the Service Canada website. If your employer refuses to do this, you can ask Service Canada for help.
