Do i have the chance to get approved?

I'm planning to study Network Engineering in Canada, i have a Bachelor Degree from Egypt - Tourism and Hotels - but i decided to study and convert to Information Technology field, my graduation was in 2007 and i don't know if i will get the chance to be approved for a study permit, my study in Canada will be for 8 months in a private college.
another question, do i need to write a letter to explain why i'm applying for this type of study while my major was Tourism and Hotels?

What's your CGPA and/or academic profile? And what universities have you applied to?

I don't know how to calculate my CGPA i have only a certificate from a public university which certify that i have obtained the degree of B.SC. of Hotels with the general grade PASS,
i didn't apply to a university in Canada, just planning to apply to private colleges, they offers Network Engineering diploma for 8 moths.

Oh okay. Sorry for confusing the two. In my country, there is no real distinction in the use of the word university and college. Anyway, good luck man! Hope you find a college with a great program
