Do i go to any consultant? WWICS asking for approx 3 lac approx in advance?

Hi

I have visited WWICS and they are asking for approx 3 lac payment to take my case. Consultant is mandatory or i can do it by my self?

My IELTS score is 6 (6.5, 6, 5.5, 5.5). Do i have to go for IELTS again?

Spouse IELTS is mandatory?

I will claim education points of spouse. Is ECA must in spouse case.

I think it can be done by self if one can invest enough time to go through CIC web and this very helpful forum.

LRWS 8,7,7,7 would get you extra points. If you think you can prep for this score, you can go for IELTS again.

Spouse IELTS is mandatory?

Not mandatory, but IELTS will add points.

I will claim education points of spouse. Is ECA must in spouse case.

To claim points for spouse education, ECA is mandatory. You can check your score using below link. Whatever point you claim for education or language, ECA and IELTS is necessary

Your IELTS score is too low to apply. You need to take the test again.

Sandy, even if you go through a consultant (even though its not necessary), the normal rates in India is INR 50-60k for a reputed consultant. Would suggest you to reappear for the IELTS and get a good score (all +7's), like everybody else is suggesting. Good Luck!

Hey,
If you want to avoid any application related hustles then you should go for a consultant. Also, be careful while selecting them- canada govt website have listed some authorised agents, country wise. Try to find that list, they would be trustworthy....

In my opinion spending 3lakhs for a consultant is crazy because ur payment to the consultant is not going to change the outcome in anyway.
All u need to do is spend some time online or just go to a nearby local VFS office,where u will get all the information that a consultant can provide.

Accepting a consultant will only slow down ur application process and show u the wrong ways to do things (mostly even these r a process to rip more money of u). So please be careful.

All u need to do is apply online through EE (available to everyone) and once invited pay the fees and provide the documents. There is no need for a middle man

Try to increase ur total points on EE to best of ur ability (Anything less than 450 points on EE will be a very hard ball game). Try to improve ur scores as much as possible.

If ur applying with ur spouse its better fr ur spouse also to do IELTS, which will actually be helpful on scoring more points
