OK, thanks, so i can apply here and leave and enter canada as many times as i like whilst it is being processed? thanks again ;D
You actually have no "right" to leave and enter, you are assessed by immigration any time that you enter. The POE officer can turn you away if they want to.
There are many things that need to be in place when you enter - money, enough for the visit - a good reason to visit - and you need to show that you will return to your home country.
Of course there are other things that could make you inadmissible, please look at the CIC Web site for guidance on what you need to do when you visit.
In theory as a visa exempt person you can visit for up to six months in one stay.
Many people visit their fiancee in Canada for six months, get married, then apply for spousal sponsorship for PR, while at the same time applying for a visa extension.
Even then, if you as a non Canadian leaves Canada they do not have to let you back in.
Word of advice - collect as much information and plenty of pictures to help prove your relationship, you will need it later in the PR process.
