Do HEC attestation required for student visa?

Hello! can anyone confirm me ? do visa office in pakistan require HEC attestation. My university didn't required one so i didn't bothered? but now i wonder what about the visa office?
Anyone in the forum who recently applied, pls share your experience.

It isn't.It makes no difference.The officers don't like you to act so much efficient, when they haven't even asked for.

Hey Guys. .

Thrice of my friends got their Visa for this Fall semester without getting their credentials attested by Higher Education Commission.

But this is how you present your case before them...

One needs to take all possible measures in approach so that VO may not point a single thing that may delay one Apps .....

There is no harm to get it attested ......

What about when we apply for work permit or for immigration, Do V.O require HEC attested documents.

Whilst you are at it you might as well get the docs stamped by the foreign office for good measure.

When I was sending docs for study permit at fedex office in karach some old guy like 50 years old was talking about HEC attestation and was holding some university degree in his hands. For first hand information I will tell you to visit their office in your city they send such documents on a daily basis they are experienced guys. For their office details. Visit. www.visadropbox.com. I'm more than 100 percent sure such attestation is not required for study permit.

I am got my visa in fall 2010.

Attestation is not compulsory but it is positive edge for your documentation.....it is good impression with respect to your file.....

I prefer you all,please attested your degree and transcript from HEC.....and matric and inter certificate from IBCC.....
