Do Foreign Credential Assessments Count as Language Skill Proof?

I got my credentials assessed by ICAS in the last year and I'm wondering if I can use this as proof of English language skills. Is it only the actual transcripts and degrees that can be used?

Was the program you studied in English? If yes, you can submit a copy of the diploma, transcripts, or certificate. If they're not in English, translate them. IRCC does not need your assessed credentials. In addition, Make sure you can prove that the program you studied was in English. According to IRCC instructions:

Did you or do you attend a secondary or post-secondary program in English or French?
The program can be in or outside Canada.
If you did, send a copy of proof that you completed or are attending a program with your application. Proof can be your:

  • diploma
  • transcript
  • certificate
Your proof must be in English or French. If it’s in another language, you must also send a certified English or French translation. The translation should show that the language of instruction of the program was English or French.
