hi
I'm a 26 year old English teacher with 7 years of experience. I have an advanced degree in English proficiency but, being an Iranian, I'm not a native speaker. I have a Cambridge CAE degree and a CELTA certificate. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
I know a little French at the moment.
I'm planning on applying for Quebec in 2 years. During this time I'm going to take French lessons and obtain a say, B2 level and an IELTS score of about 8. I also want to get a Masters' degree and maybe a DELTS certificate.
Do you think I'd better take an MA in teaching or in translation? Shall I apply as a teacher or a translator? I mean which one is more advisable for finding a job? Do I have any chance for immigration to Canada at the first place?
Thanks in advance
