Hello folks.

If I got accepted as a convention refugee I will start my PR application right away and include my common law partner into my application.

My questions are:
1. Does my common law partner need a police clearance certificate from our home country for her PR? (I know I don’t need one for myself because I am the refugee claimant, my home country is the source of persecution.)
2. Will my partner be able to use her passport from our home country after she became a permanent resident? I’ve heard that dependents of refugee are marked as DR2 in the PR type.

Much appreciated.
