Do CIC time to response is same if application resubmitted after correction?

hi all,

we sent family application. it was returned because i forgot to write date on one section. my wife's application complete but it was returned too because we applied together. they returned application after 8 weeks. we resubmitted it about two weeks ago. my question is now they will again take same amount of time i.e 8 weeks to respond? thank you.

More or less, yes. Don t expect a special treatment to your application just because it was resubmitted. They treat all received application the same way. so you will hear from them in 6 or 8 weeks, maybe little longer.
