I have heard from many student consulting agents that the CHC don't really concern the students class starting dates is that right or not ?

They don't care. Actually, "I don't care" is the most commonest phrase spoken by native speakers in north America. If you have a visa you can join your school during any semester .

First get passport back with study permit . No point wasting time Over trivial issues. Don't rack your brains out for nothing

According to my knowledge, u don't get study permit for the full duration of your course. You will extend it within Canada. So ending course dates does not matter

For example, for a 4 year bachelor degree, a 2 year study permit will be issued and You will have to extend it from canada

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I I would not like you to waste your money in registering for your courses and not doing well in your studies because of joining classes late and other similar issues. To answer your last question, a student advisor will guide you properly with visa extention and what other requirements you need to take care of as a student like good grades, attendance, etc

No comments since you are getting personal now. I have no answer to your questions based on ifs and buts. Let's hear something first from CHC . All the best with your future endeavors .

Actually Umair81 got his permit well before september 2011 now and one person on this forum got the permit after 2 months of classes start time, this makes me wonder if the VOs don't consider the college timings, Only answers to the point _ _ _.

Right, they dont really care. If your file is still in queue and your course date has passed then your visa will be refused if you fail to provide an updated admission letter from your university/college which shows the new start date. Thus, it is your responsibility to provide the embassy with a new admission letter if you do not hear from the CHC on time.

I really dont understand you people! If Canada does not give a damn about students than why do you people flock to Canada? I mean they treat you like rubbish yet you are still willing to tolerate it!
