Hi all appreciate your feedback on this one.

Thanks

Absolutely Yes.
Even if they are printouts of online statements, you still need to get them stamped from the bank.
There has been a refusal case before due to missing stamps. So please be careful.

It depends - did your bank list all of the requirements in the letter? (Average balances etc).

If so, that technically is the only evidence that they require for POF and if you are adding the statements as additional backup I wouldnt be concerned about the stamping.

If the bank statement meets requirements like, bank address, telephone number, account holders name, etc..etc.. I don't think it needs to be stamped.
Lets look at a perspective, an applicant holds an account in home country and maintains balance in Bank X. He is currently based out of his home country and applies, its not possible for this applicant to submit stamped bank statement.

Ozlis and Yoda24, you can submit the bank statements without the bank stamp on them and see if CIC will accept it.
If they accept it and Alott you PPR, well and good. Then atleast you guys have a story to share on this forum that CIC really accepts these statements without bank stamps.
All the best.
