DM but never received letter

Please someone to give some thoughts on this situation.

I am status DM, never received any letter from Etobicoke office for acknowledgement.
I called recently to CIC call center, was told my appointment is next Friday.

and there is no confirmation letter. A bit frustrated about this situation now.

Etobicoke? So you are inland! right?
When did you got your DM? I got it feb 28th and still no contact from my office.
Well, if you did call cic telecenter and they told you you have an appointment,... what did they tell you when you said you havent received any letter? did they told you at least what you need to bring to the landing interview? Your sponsor has to be there, for what ive read, landing interview is stress-free, lasts at max 15min (the waiting is the longest part!). Normally, you will have to bring passport, sponsor's picture id (must have same adress than your id) and anyother document from immigrations (immi. letters, recepit of payment for the 490$, old visas or permits, etc)
now the trick part is that you are supposed to bring the "landing letter" with you! now if you havent received it.. maybe you can call cic again and tell them to send you one... try not to have them reschedule your interview cuz waiting time for another one could be long.

If he is inland there's no way to contact local offices... inlanders depend only in cic agents.

inland has no email contact to local office any more.
it really depends on the person check email. if a nice one, they will abandon the rule by forward your email to local office. but most of the time. those folks will kick your email right back at you

I got mine around late Feb too. called numbers of time to CIC. really have to depend on the luck, if it is good luck. the person on the phone would help you all he/she can to find info.

One of a nice lady at the call center sent out inmail to local office. but no response yet.
I suppose I will go in regardless.

tips. when call cic, if the rep is saying no updates/info. ask them to check " the other system"
