DM back to In Process. Any similar cases?

Just wanted to check in with you guys about my case.

This is the timeline of my process:

19 Nov 2020 - Application Filed
9 Mar 2021 - Background Verification Complete
25 May 2021 - Citizenship test scheduled for
22 June 2021 - Citizenship test status has been updated to completed
4 Aug 2021 - Physical presence, Prohibitions and language skills updated to completed
15 March 2022 - Ghost update
15 March 2022- DM goes back to IP

Did anyone face a similar timeline/update pattern?

Sent Apr 2021, AOR Jul 2021, Bckgrd chk Sep 2021, test invite Nov 2021, test completed Dec 2021, language, prohibitions and physical presence completed Apr 2022, ghost update twice Aug 2022 (Aug 5 and Aug 9)

I wonder if they are redoing background checks early, before the 1 year mark? Since you're about 11 months past your background check.

Ottawa. Even if it is decision made on old ecas tracker, do they conduct background check again?

First of all, is it the background check that expires after a year or the fingerprint results? Iirc it's just the FP results.

How frequently have we seen BG Complete/DM -------> BG In Progress among 2020/19 applicants waiting for oath that were never fingerprinted and they did whole another BG check?

Secondly, were you fingerprinted during the citizenship process?

My guess is for those who were not fingerprinted, when the status changes from BG Complete/DM to BG In Progress, you'll get DM again very soon and for those that were fingerprinted, they'll get FP request again if it's been a year since the last FP.
