DM and received a job offer but out of status and expired SIN

Hey guys, just wanted to ask for a clarification. I just had a DM and waiting for Landing interview appointment.

The problem right now is I had an interview and offered a Nursing Position. Am I allowed to work without my landing appointment? Basically, I was out of status when I applied my Sponsorship and I have expired SIN?

Or do I have to wait for the landing interview before I could start my job? I am thinking I am still out of status right now because I don't have my landing interview yet : this process has been soo hard!

You are out of status until your landing interview. It is illegal to work until after you land.

I don't have a choice but to wait then...hopefully Halifax will send me a landing appointment ASAP...jesshhh
