Yes you can get it changed even when u started your college in canada

Hello guys, I have 2 years valid study permit, and i am currently enrolled at NSCC with a course of Electronics Technician Engineering (2 year course). And the classes start on January 2018. I am deciding to change my program to a 1 yr course which is related to my course i graduated in Philippines (Computer Science). The program that I really interested in, will be start on september 2018. Is it okay if i will wait until september? Any advice please? Thank you so much in advance.
