Hi Seniors,

I had my distance education ECA done through WES and they gave equivalency equal to 4 Years bachelors in Canada.

I need some urgent help I had taken admission in Bcom distance education in 1998 and it was supposed to be completed in 2002 but due to some personal reasons I couldn't complete and I gave exams again and completed it in 2012. In Wes evaluation report it is mentioned year 2012.
I have my 10th and 12th completed on time.
From 2004 - till date I have all my experience letters and payslips from my employers currently working as Contact Center Manager 0125 NOC for the past 8 years.
I am trying to fill the express entry profile please advise what to mention for the year of studies for Bachelors degree mention as 1998-2002 but there is gap of 10 years had backlogs and cleared in 2012.

Valuable advise and opinion is highly appreciated.

You should put it as 2012 and i believe the same is mentioned in the ECA.

Having a gap shouldnt be a problem

Thank you. when filling express entry profile what shall I mention for Number of years of Study because as per ECA it is 4 years Canada equivalent It also has the option of Part Time and Full time. Shall I mention as Part Time ?

another thing in the work experience I am confused on what to mention the date which I have completed the Bachelors degree or mention the date I have started working from 2004.

Date first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

So WES accepts distance education?

Can you mention the name of your university so that it can help the others like us.
