Distance Education Degree holder gets the point?

Hi All,

Has CHC given the points for Distance Education Degree (BA)?
Person attended the classes at the local center of University. But the degree does not say anything about distance education and center name in the degree itself. I mean there is no center name and distance education evidence in the degree and transcript/mark sheets.

Is there any body who has any idean about this? or Is there any body who got the points for such type of degree?

Hello Rink,

Many seniors are their on this blog and you would get inputs soon.. Here is mine

1) Get Transcript from University in sealed envelop
2) If you have Provisional Degree attached that too to your documents
3) Attached notarized Degree.
4) If Distance learning then get contact hours from university/Center where you have taken your classes and attach it to your documents. DU does give you contact hours, but if some other university check from them how to get contact hours. You need contact hours i.e you have to show that you have attended 15/18 hrs per week for your distance learning graduation.

three-year bachelor's degree), officers should apply the definition of full-time equivalent study and

Thanks for stsrting this thread.

I have the simialr question like yours , I have posted this topic many times on forum . But nobody had any idea about this thing whether the person holding Degree from Distance Learinign/ Correspondence got the points for education ?

When some memebers talks like there should be atleast 15 hours/week study than i really dont understand becoz in India there are universities and institiutions that provide degree but they dont have to attend any classes . But they only had to take exams by prepraring themselves from study material provided by university.

Plese keep on sharin g our views if you got any satisfactory reply on this.
