Distance between School and Home ?

Ok. Best of luck dear. Its really hard to find good house from May - Aug as its the peak time. I came to know that in Sep onwards its much easier with many options.

I am in touch with some reliable Desi realtors , if you want I can share the info with you. I also get the feed back about those realtors from there clients from Middle East.

If you have some info , please share as I believe in team work.

I am looking apartment either basements or flat in Mississauga, Milton or Oakville near sheridan college Oakville for a small family.
Any idea of rents? My husband's close friend is real estate agent . He is in contact with him.he promised to find a house for us in 2 weeks after landing. Let see... but still i searched on rough ideas of rents and expenses.

For Milton subtract 200 CAD for each option mentioned above. I am not looking basement as I have two small children.

I will travel in Aug Insha Allah.I am a PR Card holder. We are family of four including two kids ages 7 & 3 and belongs to Pak.

FYI it will he really hard for a family to live comfortably in Milton without Car as commute is not easily ..

Yea i know. Been to Milton before.
I have an international licence. So,definitely get a car 1st. Its 1st priority. Without personal car hard to move for us. But yea , on a funny note, have to adjust in cars. Coz 4x4 , petrol and car insurance each month would be hectic.
Definitely miss middle east lavished life.
But inshaAllha will reach that spot soon.

Yap true dubai is expansive city.
When we managed to live decade here generously inshaAllha in Toronto as well.
You didn't get my point in my comment. New place or city always take some time and amount to settle.

Yet I agreed that one need time to settle in a new place or city. But if one lives a lavished life in Dubai, he or she most likely can afford the same lavish life in cities like Toronto.

No taxes, jobs often come with living expenses and a trip home a year, higher salaries, gas for your car is ridiculously cheap, school fees might be paid by employer, etc. There are often a lot of extras included with your salary that is not taxed. Salaries are also higher. All reasons that the expat life in the ME can be pretty nice.

I live in a luxury condo in Scarborough paying only 1950 (including utilities) monthly- Scarborough is well connected to the Downtown (cost-effective and only the TTC) as opposed to Mississauga or Brampton.

Once you approach the school district board they will guide you on the entire process...

He is talking about the recently introduced VAT on goods and other direct taxes... so far no direct tax on income at least in the GCC
