Did anyone get a net increase of 30 points for education?
My updated profile shows a total score of 474(my previous score was 464 and I have a bachelor's degree in Canada), which is 38 points lower than what the calculator gives. The major discrepancy comes from the following section. Is anyone facing the same situation?

CRS Calculator:

Skill transferability factors

Education

A) Official Language proficiency and education = 25
B) Canadian work experience and education = 13
Subtotal = 38

Foreign work experience--> the question corresponds to foreign work experience (ii. In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).) did not specify "foreign"???.

A) Official Language proficiency and foreign work experience = 25
B) Canadian and foreign work experience B) = 13
Subtotal = 38

Certificate of qualification = 0

Subtotal Skill transferability factors = 76

Profile:

CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 38
CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 0

How many years of full time (or equivalent part time) paid CWE under NOC 0/A/B do you have in the past 3 years?

How many years of full time (or equivalent part time) paid FWE under NOC 0/A/B do you have in the past 10 years?

What is your highest educational qualification other than Bachelors degree in Canada?

What are your language test scores?

I have 18 months full time CWE NOC A. I just have Bachelor's degree. And I maxed out on language (136).

You will get 38 points under Skills Tranferability for now. It will go up to 50 after you complete 2 years of CWE. As you have 0 years of FWE, you get 0 points in that sub-section.

The calculator sucks ass because it makes you enter work experience but it actually wants you to enter foreign work experience which you don't have.

Thank you!
I also have two specialist degrees. Both were 4-year programs but had a lot of overlapping courses so I got them both. But the two degrees do not show on my diploma, only available to check in the university system since they are both B.Comm. Does that count as two degrees? Should I add another degree?

Not true if we are talking about the IRCC calculator.

The questions in order are as below,

6) Work Experience

i. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?
It must have been paid and full-time (or an equal amount in part-time).

Note: In Canada, the National Occupational Classification (NOC) is the official list of all the jobs in the Canadian labour market. It describes each job according to skill type, group and level.

"Skilled work" in the NOC is:

managerial jobs (NOC Skill Level 0),
professional jobs (NOC Skill Type A), or
technical jobs and skilled trades/manual work (NOC Skill Type B).
If you are not sure of the NOC level for this job, you can find your NOC on this site.

ii. In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).
If you notice, the question on CWE immediately precedes the question which you think 'sucks ass'. Common sense dictates that this question is asking about non-Canadian work experience as opposed to the previous question asking about Canadian work experience.

Do you have 2 separate degree certificates? If not, that would likely be a single degree. You should check with your University to see if those can be utilized as 2 individual diplomas for PR purposes (I don't see it happening based on information provided here but no harm trying).

All the best!

Your "common sense" is mind-blowingly horrendous.

Presumably you had a sub-par score on the Reading section of your English language test and/or are woefully unaware of the simplest chains of logic especially as they relate to 2 contrasting events/possibilities. Not at all surprised that you find my common sense to be mind-blowingly horrendous as you do appear to be allergic to it.

All the best!
