diration of the canadian study permit from Tanzania dar es salaam

I hope all is well
I applied for the Canadian study permit since 19th of December 2018 and until now I haven't received any feedback from the Canadian embassy in Dar es Salaam.
I tried to track my application from the VFS website and all I am getting is " NO RECORD FOUND" my program is starting on the 25th of February 2019. I have already booked the flight for the 31st of January

can someone help me with some advices or what I should at this stage?

Application processing time from Tanzania for a study permit is 6 weeks. Your application is 5 weeks old. Wait for a few days and send a case specific inquiry to ircc. It is not advisable to book tickets beforehand see if you can change your departure date because it is probable that your decision maybe made in the first week of February if the processing time is taken into consideration.

Try linking your application to an online account. You'll then be able to see what stage its at. Did you receive an email from VFS showing that your application has been processed in their office on **** date? You should have received the email by now They normally send the email after they have received your application and have processed it (sent it) to the embassy. Anyway try linking your account, or if your are in Tanzania you can also call the vfs DSM office
