Dilemma on Education Points!

Hello ,

I am in dilemma,I have doubts about Education points. Following are my details,How many points I am elidgible to claim?
Schooling:- 12 years regular & continuous
Graduation:- 3 Year regular degree
Master of Science(I.T.):- 2 year Distance Program, under which I use to take 4 hours class/6 days a week in my college.
Post Graduate Diploma in management:- 2 Year regular program, equivalent to MBA, approved by AICTE/ Ministry of HRD.

Total Years of regular Study-19 Years. How many points should I claim?

1. Well since you don't claim the points. IF CIC accepts the master 25, if not 20.

"If CIC accepts" Any pointers for parameters of acceptence? Why only 20? 22 is there too!!

Did you send the certificate stating that you attended the 4hrs classes 6 days?

Did you degree says that it is done through distance education?

If I were you I would calculate it at 20, worst case scenario, and see where do I stand between other parameters and magical 67...

i need help in calculating my education points, your help is appreciated.
Below listed are my educational qualifications.


1> Schooling - 10 years
2> Intermediate + Bachelors - 5 Years
3> Diploma - 1 year (Diploma was done along with Bachelors)
4> MBA from London - 1.5 Years
