I used the following free website to get my photo to the correct specs for the PR application.

Allows you to set parameters such as DPI and has a helpful cropping tool,

It worked for me when I applied for a TRV which was granted.

Hi friends do we need to ask the photographer for the digital image or s physical copy that we scan.

You will be given a physical copy that you can scan yourself (that's what I did) but you can also ask for a digital version.
