Hi All,
Please help me with this.

1. Do i have to upload a digital photo or a scan of my print photo?
1. The frame needs to be 45X35mm. But if i am uploading a digital photo (or a scanned immage), how is this size measured?
2. The physical dimension must be 420X540. Does it apply to Digital photo or the scan of the print photo?
3. The resolution must be 600 pixels per inch? How do i check that? I scanned my print photo and it came to be 300 dpi. How do i know how many pixels per inch does it have and how to change it to 600? Are DPI and pixels per inch the same?

Regards

You can go to a photpgrapher and tell them the specifications. I upload a digital photo which he clicked and gave to me.

1. Digital photo is better but you can also upload a scan. Both are acceptable.
2. If you are scanning, the original picture must be 45x35 at 600dpi (this will take care of the size etc)
3. If you are uploading a digital image, the MINIMUM resolution must be 420x540 or any multiple of it (aspect ratio should be same).
4. If scanning a picture, then set dpi to 600 for a better quality scan, otherwise a normal digital picture is fine.

Best would be to go to a good photographer and take the printout of the photo guide. Also please ask them NOT to do any photoshopping etc. The head should be large enough and in the middle and this means only top of shoulders should be in the picture.

But most importantly, if the pictures are not right they will most likely ask you to resubmit them so not a big deal.
