Digital photo and biometrics

On the checklist list document it says if you need to give biometrics, you do not need to give photos.
When I tried applying online, one of the documents requested is a digital photo! Though at the bottom of the page it mentions the fees for the biometrics to be paid with the visa fee!

This is confusing. If I don't upload a digital photo, the application would be incomplete!

Another question, when applying online, I did not find a checklist form to be filled out. Or no need for a checklist?

Did this happen to anyone before?

Take a picture, use yoru phone or your tablet, stand next to a light wall and make sure it's just your shoulder, neck and full head in the picture. Like a normal passport picture. Then upload that. You will go through the biometrics process as soon as it is complete. It's automated, once you upload and submit application you'll get an immediate request for biometrics.

Thanks for your reply. I am uploading a picture that I took 4 months for the canadian embassy as well.
And since they will ask for biometrics, I guess they won't use the uploaded one.

Hi!! I am living in yemen. Pakistani national and applying for trv. Husband is canadian and my spousal sponsorship is already in progress. How to show dual intent?i am now applying for trv.

Yemens trv applications r processed in Abu Dhabi embassy and biometrics r given there too. Now, my question is when to give the biometric? Right when I apply? Or when they request my passprt( in case of stamping visa) ..

Cz I don't want to waste money on an air ticket right now ,I don't even know if they r Gina accept my application.
