I think there may different situations and different treatments. In my situation I got an update request and they also wanted me to provide police certificates. They also sent medical forms together with update forms. But there was an explanation and said in this phase completing medical examinations is in your responsibility. We do not give any guarantee about your PR visa. To have medical exam will not provide you get visa but it may decrease processing time. I got this information about 3 months ago and because of this explanation I did not have med. exam. I did not get any other explanation from embassy during that 3 months. They did not call me for interview. Please I need your experiences. What should I do? Do I have to wait for med exam until they said you won. Or, do I complete the exam. What do you think about interview? Will they call me or do I have waive? Currently I am waiting with medical forms.
Thank you for your interest.

Hi,

I think thre should have been a cover letter whihc says, you shoulod complete your medical exams with in 90 days or something like that..

I guess, once you receive the forms, you should go for medicals..

any how consult some immi. lawyers or write to embassy.

a medical exam is required of all applicants. The results of the medical exam is partly how3 they determine whether or not to approve your visa. Get the exam done right away. There aren't any guarantees for anyone. We submit our paperwork and hope for the best. It's just the way it is.

Best wishes!

It would be a good idea to have the medical exam done. As far as I know, one has 90 days to get the medical done from the date of the letter issued. Like you said 3 months have already passed by, you might want to check with the embassy again.

Also, tell me this when they sent you a letter stating to get your medical done, did they also sent you a medical form with your picture on it?
