Different NOC in Canadian Work Experience versus Foreign Work Experience ???

Hello,

Please, could someone help me with my query?

  1. I worked as an Accounts Manager (Sales) in India for 3 years (May 2015 to July 2018) - NOC 0601
  2. However, prior to that, I worked as Sr. Executive Corporate Relations (from Dec 2011 to April 2015). Although the designation was not that of a manager, the roles & responsibilities were same as NOC 0601
  3. My first job was as Marketing Associate (from July 2010 to Aug 2011). I am not sure about the NOC for this job.
  4. Now, after coming to Canada, I have been working as Logistics Co-Ordinator (since March 2020) - NOC 1215

Questions:
  1. For my experience as Sr. Executive Corporate Relations -> Does the designation have to match the NOC or the responsibilities need to match the NOC?
  2. Can my Foreign Experience be a combination of different NOCs?
  3. What duration of Foreign Experience does IRCC looks at?
  4. Should my Canadian experience and Foreign Experience be in the same NOC for me to get additional points for Foreign Experience?

Please Advise !!!

Thank You All

1) NOC should be based on responsibilities. This has been asked and answered in this forum multiple times
2) your primary NOC should have one year continuous work experience.
3) they’ll only look at the past 10 years prior at the time you submitted your EE profile and be in the pool. So anything before 2011 will not be considered.
4) there’s no such requirement. As long as it’s NOC 0, A, B, you will fetch points.

Since you’re applying for CEC, the max points you get for foreign work is 3 years, anything beyond that is not value adding. You can check the CRS grid to confirm. You can declare work 1 as foreign work and work 4 for CEC, that’s it. You can declare the other two under personal history when you get an ITA and you won’t be asked for supporting docs, even the NOC for those two jobs.
