I don't think it will. They may ask you though during your interview, but do you really need to use a mailing address different from your residential address??? why don't you minimize the risk and use one address at least till you get your citizenship. You may have a good reason but that's my opinion.

The forums have many reports of the CIC randomly ignoring the mailing address and sending important mail to the home address. So, I wouldn't recommend depending on the CIC to only use your mailing address.
Other than that, I don't think the CIC will look askance at the mailing address, as long as it's inside Canada.

Hi canpr11

I think it will not make any problem. I was in the same position. If you leave your home address, there would be make some problem. In my case i received my AOR and Discovery Canada book in my mailing address but my test and oath ceremony invitation letter i received in my home address.

My timeline is as follows
Application Send : 6th Nov, 2013
Application Rcvd: 12th Nov, 2013
AOR & Book Rcvd : 5th Jan, 2014
Test invitation letter Rcvd : 8th Apr, 2014
Test Date : 23rd Apr, 2014 ( Scarborough Town Center)
Oath Invitation Rcvd : 20th May, 2014
Oath Ceremony will be held : 10th June, 2014 ( Scarborough Town Center)

Hi to all,

Thank you everyone for taking the time and apprecite your prompt replies.

Cheers!

SR

If the home address and mailing address is same then do we leave the mailing empty in CIT 002 form for citizenship or fill both the addresses with same address ?

Then it is a problem in receiving communication at home address when mailing address was given differently. I had different address for my PR but had no issue hence thought this wont be a problem but the handling of your case is raising concern for my plan to give mailing address differently.

Did you change the mailing address later? Just trying to see if thats the confusion happened to them.
